‘
I'm in Minecraft! I know you don't really like it and that's why you didn't want to join me on this holiday, but it's just so amazing that I've got to rub it in your faces a little bit - this place is beautiful! I've attached some of my holiday snaps for you guys in the office to have a look at. I just wish I'd borrowed a camera off of one of you, instead of relying on my knackered old Polaroid.’

Power Consumption
Putting a realistic, repeatable load on a PC to get a decent idea of its real world power consumption and thermal output has long been something with which we've experimented here at
bit-tech.
After much testing we've settled on looping the Canyon Flight test of 3DMark06, while simultaneously fully loading all available CPU cores with Prime95. This is a truly punishing test that pushes PCs to the edge of what they're likely to experience. As a result, the figures below show peak power consumption in the absolute worst case. Our idle results are generated by leaving the PC on the Windows desktop and waiting for the power draw to level-out at a steady level.
